KAIRO · FAST · MOVE · RECOVER
Effective July 2026
The short version: Kairo doesn't collect your data. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party services. Your fasting story lives on your iPhone — we couldn't read it even if we wanted to. The rest of this page just spells that out.
Everything you record in Kairo — fasting sessions and history, weight and body-fat logs, journal check-ins, sleep logs, hydration, workouts you log, plans, reminders, and settings — is stored locally on your iPhone. It is never transmitted to us. We have no servers and no way to see it.
Deleting the app deletes this data.
Kairo only touches Apple Health if you grant permission, and you choose exactly what to share. If you do:
Health data never leaves your iPhone, is never used for marketing, and is never shared with anyone — and it is never uploaded to iCloud. You can revoke these permissions any time in the iPhone Settings app, and you control the data in Apple Health directly.
iCloud sync is off by default. If you turn it on, your fasting history, body logs, journal check-ins, and the workouts you logged by hand are stored in your personal, private iCloud database, protected by your Apple Account. That data belongs to you; we cannot access, read, or share it. Workouts read from Apple Health never sync — they stay on each device. Apple's iCloud terms and privacy protections apply.
Kai's insights are generated on your device, using Apple's on-device intelligence when available. Your fasting data is never sent to us — or to any third party — to produce them.
Kairo Labs subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see your payment details. Apple's privacy policy governs payment processing; Kairo checks your subscription status on-device through Apple's StoreKit framework.
Reminders — fast completion, daily check-in, plan reminders — are local notifications scheduled on your device. No server is involved.
Kairo contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no trackers, and it does not access the advertising identifier. The App Store privacy label "Data Not Collected" applies.
The promises above are about the Kairo app, which collects nothing. This website (kairofasting.com) keeps data to the bare minimum — and we'd rather tell you exactly what that is than pretend it's zero:
That's the whole of it: no ad networks, no data brokers, nothing sold to anyone.
Kairo is not directed at children and is intended for adults choosing to track fasting.
Kairo provides general wellness information only and is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult your physician before beginning any fasting practice.
If a future version of Kairo changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated at this address before that version ships, with a new effective date.
